Cafe Amoree sits along Valley High on the National Highway in General Santos City and blends the laid-back vibe of a cafe with a full-service Italian and Filipino restaurant. It’s a spot where you can settle in for a coffee break or linger over a meal that moves from classic Italian pasta to hearty local dishes.

The cafe side is popular for its well-prepared coffee drinks—the kind of place where locals drop in for an espresso con panna or a caramel macchiato to recharge their day. The matcha green tea latte and iced coffee rounds out a beverage menu that caters to both traditional coffee lovers and those looking to switch it up. Morning and mid-afternoon are prime times here, when the light hits the comfortable lobby seating just right, making it conducive for casual chats or quiet work moments, though it’s worth noting WiFi isn’t always reliable.

When it comes to food, Cafe Amoree serves more than just the expected pizza and pasta. Their carbonara and pesto pizza offer recognizable Italian flavors, but the menu also highlights local favorites like Mestisong Bulalo and pancit canton, bridging international and regional tastes. Pork dishes are a standout, with offerings like crispy pata and pork binagoongan reflecting a hearty, home-cooked feel. The variety points to a kitchen that's trying to keep both tourist and local palates satisfied, though some visitors have noticed certain items can be unavailable at times.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined—a nice step above your typical coffee joint but still casual enough to come as you are. The space has improved recently, with a welcoming dining area that balances a quiet cafe buzz with the livelier energy of a restaurant. The ballroom area, often mentioned by regulars, suggests this place also handles celebrations and larger gatherings, adding to its role as a community spot.

Overall, Cafe Amoree works well for those looking to mix coffee comfort with a meal, especially if you enjoy variety on your plate. It suits a diverse crowd: solo visitors grabbing a quick pick-me-up, couples sharing Italian and Filipino dishes, and groups marking special occasions. Early or late daytime hours are best for catching the full menu and soaking up the space’s welcoming mood.

They offer a different kinds of beverages, from coffee, tea, to yoghurt drinks. You can also find lots of Filipino dishes, like from Sinigang to Crispy Pata. I recommend their Kilawin.

Good food, great menu of drinks, great customer service, great hours, excellent atmosphere. Very high-quality cafe and restaurant. And a great location too. I wish they had Wi-Fi. Update: I came back here a few weeks later and a ton of items on the menu were not available. I have to give it four stars instead of five now.

They have improved their food offerings. Their lobby restaurant is one of the better places to dine. Service has improved too. Their ballroom is awesome!

We ordered a Café Americano after lunch at Big Ben, and the coffee was served quickly. The service was efficient, and the coffee was just right. A great spot for a quick pick-me-up!

One of the best places apparently to go to in Gensan but food was just Ok lang. HOWEVER, coffee was actually very good! And ambience was cozy and nice.
